As many as 23 pike and 5 perch caught granted Sebastian Mazur and Marcin Romańczkuk victory in the Grand Prix of Poland!!!
After the victory in the first edition of the Grand Prix of Poland 2019 contest at Martwa Wisła, the time has come for another round, held in a dinghy formula at the Myśliborskie lake. In the contest there were 57 participating teams of two, including leaders of a yearly classification – representatives of the Mikado Total Fishing club. Myśliborskie lake is a marvellous reservoir with a clean water and really diverse shoreline; there are plenty of pike and perch in those waters too. Strategy of the Sebastian Mazur & Marcin Romańczuk team was mostly focused on catching that second fish – pike.
Fish were getting caught since the very beginning, therefore one needed to keep some really good pace in order to have any chance to mean anything in the classification. During the first Saturday round spinning team of the Mikado Total Fishing club caught total of 13 pike and 2 perch, winning the first day of competition by far, scoring an incredible result of 14 670 points. The biggest pike caught had 75.4 cm of length.
Strategy for the second day remained unchanged. The beginning was great, as the first cast resulted with a full-sized pike. Later Mikado Total Fishing Team kept catching more fish, finishing the second day of the competition with 10 pike and 3 perch on their scoreboard. The biggest pike of the day had 69.3 cm.
The result of 3 sector points and 23 620 points, Grand Prix of Poland was unanimously won by the Mikado Total Fishing!
At the Myśliborskie lake during the contest a record-breaking number of fish has been caught: 322 pike and 551 perch. Our sincere congratulations to all the participants that had their part in achieving that great result.
